He was predeceased by : his parents, Sam Clopton and Bertha Clopton (Brundage); his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Glenn, Loyd, Jerry and Wanda Maddocks.
He is survived by : his daughters, Linda Gauntt (Cliff) of Texas, Sharon Harris of Florida, Jody Smith and Susie Gibson of Muskogee; his grandchildren, Renee Ferguson (Royce), Scott Hammer, Aaron Gauntt, Anni, Adam Wilson, Jeremy Harris (Kelly), Rodney Gibson (Bri), Daryl Smith and Jesse Brown (Harley); and his great grandchildren, Ashton Ferguson, Kira Gauntt, Linzi Gibson, Gracee, Carsen, Callie Gibson, Asher, Ember Brown, Aven Wilson, Jacob and Dylan Harris.
