He was predeceased by: his mother Lola Mae Tepe. He is survived by: his father Franklin D. Tepe; his son Tanner Gerald Tepe (Maddie); his wife Gay Lynn; his brothers, Joe Tepe and Bryan Tepe (Sherrie); and his nieces and nephews, Spencer Tepe, Tyler Tepe (Makayla), Amberla Tepe and Twylene Tepe. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
