He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa Gourd (Buffalo); his son David Gourd; and his sister Julia Gourd. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Gourd (Jessica), Jicelynn Vinson Gourd (Puna), Lila Gourd and Christopher Gourd (Jaz); his siblings, Terry Gourd (Tomi Jo) and Eileen Brown (Terry); and his grandchildren, Paka Poepoe III, Gabriel Lander, Jr., Cameron Lander, Maui Ferreira and Pono Ferreira.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home (632 SW C Ave, Lawton, OK 73501). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
