With sadness, we share the passing of Betty Jo LaFave in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Betty, born on February 28, 1931 in Clayton, New Mexico, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Johnson and Opal Johnson (Kersey); and her husband Kenneth. She is survived by: her sister Joy Ogle of Felt, OK.; her children, Larry LaFave (Vicki) of Jenks, OK and Kimberly Theisen (John) of Pilot Point, TX.; and her grandchildren, Jamie Sartors (Dan), Nikki LaFave, Austin LaFave, Tiffany Nichols (Jerron), John Henry Theisen, Jr. (Jessica) and Anna Erlichman (Adam13 Great). She is also survived by her family, church family and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Southwest Baptist Church (5304 S 33rd W Ave, Tulsa, OK 74107). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Garland Cemetery.
