He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Bier and Gladys Ryle Bier; and his sons, Lester Bier and John Bier. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Bier (Rebecca) of Mounds, OK and Ervin Dan Bier (Joie) of Locust Grove, Georgia.; his former wife Pamela Bier of Locust Grove; and also Irene Fink. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
