He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin A. Wedel and Hilda Wedel (Nightingale); his former wife Anna Mae; his brothers, Glenn, Bill and Gene Wedel; his siblings' children, Lugenia Haffner, Marsha Schmidt, Curtis Ivan Schmidt, Jr. and Randy Wedel; and his sisters-in-law, Jewel Wedel and Ruth Wedel.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Unruh; his children, Dianna Buller (Doug) of Goltry and Rick Wedel (Angie) of Ringwood; his grandchildren, Rebecca Buller, Deavon Guertler (Sam), Cole DeQuasie and Rowdy Sandifer; his great grandchildren, Everett and Quinn Guertler; his siblings, Darlene Holub (Verland) of Ringwood and Jerry Wedel of Ringwood; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Wedel of Ringwood and Doris Wedel of Meno. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zoar Church (312 Broadway Ave, Goltry, OK 73739).
