He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Sturgeon and LaJoy Minnick Sturgeon; and his grandparents, Olin, Goldia Sturgeon, Everett and Clara Minnick.

He is survived by: his wife Sheri; his children, Quentin (Lynsie Strait) of Helena, Megan (Clay Albright) of Oklahoma City and Brianna (Matt Stephens) of Goltry; his grandchildren, Addie Sturgeon, Avery Sturgeon, Corbin Sturgeon, Emma Stephens, Jackson Stephens and Carstin Albright; and his sisters, Jolynn (Bruss Horn) of Chickasha and Robin (Tony Ehrlich) of Chickasha. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and more friends.

Memorials may be made to Our Daily Bread, St. Jude's, or the Timberlake Ag Boosters through Lanman Funeral Home.
