She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Thomas and Ilene Herron (Ballinger); her brother Curtis Marvin Herron; her brothers-in-law, Donnie O'Bryan and Ray Hammond; and her nephew Jared O'Bryan.
She is survived by: her husband Alva Hammond; her children, Jonathan Seth Hammond of Wall and Michaela Ranae (Brian Mallory) of Amarillo, Texas; her granddaughters, Ashlyn (Matthew Bowen) of Amarillo and Jillian Mallory of Amarillo; her great grandchild Laney Jane; her sisters, Judy Kay O'Bryan of Johnson and Linda Jean Hammond of Garden City; and her sister-in-law Debbie Kay Davis (Frank) of Guthrie, Oklahoma. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
The family will greet friends at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, January 6th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials in memory of Barbara can be given to the No Man's Land Historical Society and will be accepted at Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
