He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Locust and Liz Locust; and his siblings, Linda Barnett, Eloise Locust, Leslie Locust and Michael Locust.
He is survived by: his wife Carolina Mae Locust; his children, Thomas Locust III (Jeanie), Chad Michael Locust (Chrissie Sugar) and April Denise Abercrombie "Baby Girl" (Chester III); his brother Arthur Joe Locust (Tena); and his grandchildren, Angelica Josephine "AJ" Jones, Chester Ray "Ray Ray" Abercrombie IV, Thomas "Knuckles" "Jefferson" Joseph Abercrombie and Jonathan Joe "Jonny" Jones Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his ODOT family and many friends.
