With sadness, we share the passing of Roger Dale Brummell (Gracemont, Oklahoma). Roger, born on July 17, 1944, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cecil Brummell and Flora Faye Vance Brummell; his siblings, Ray Brummell, Alvin Brummell, Charlotte Brummell and Shirley Daugherty; and his grandson Dillon Brummell.
He is survived by: his close friend Sharon Hervey of Chickasha; his children, Rhonda Cruz (Dennis) of Berthoud, Gerry Brummell of Chickasha, Michael Brummell and Anthony (Casey) of Midwest City; his grandchildren, Marcus Brummell of Gracemont, Dallas Brummell Sr. (Shelby) of Anadarko, Ok Mikenzie Crawford (Eddie) of Minco, Ok Devon (Ashley) of Erie, Ryan Zerbel (Allie) of Oklahoma City and Breene Brummell of Oklahoma City, OK; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn Ely, Dallas Brummell Jr., Haven Ely of Anadarko, Dalton Crawford of Minco, Mitzi Zerbil and Evelyn Zerbil of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ray and Martha's Funeral Home (1115 S Mission St, Anadarko, OK 73005). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
He especially enjoyed spending time with his long time companion Sharon and visiting the local diners as well as "donating" to the nearby casinos.
