He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Hill and Willie Mae Tillman; and his siblings, Ossie Hill, Robert Hill, Adolphus Calvin Jr., Ethel "Lou" Sanders and Margaret Pope.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Calvin, Jeffery Hill, Jesse Hill III, Jerry Hill and Arif Carey; and his sisters, Betty Tillman, Jacqulian Robinson and Evelyn McDonald. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
