He is survived by: his wife Patti Smith; his daughter Dawn Young (Ned); his grandchildren, Jacob and Sydney; his son John Smith (Karen); his granddaughters, Savannah and Abigail; his great grandchild Lynzie Smith Young; his grandson Ben Smith; his great grandchild Nathan; his granddaughter Haley Bartholomew (Roderic Kerner); his great grandchildren, Eliza, Elijah, Mia and Maddison; and his siblings, Steward Smith and Susanna Smith.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Crossroads Church (56900 E Hwy 59, Afton, OK 74331).
