He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Edwards and Ella Mae Edwards (Tillison); his sister Polly Tillison; and his grandmother Lue Carey. He is survived by: his daughter April (Eric Paxton); his sister Dovie Norwood; his aunt Ruth Carey; his nieces and nephews, Sharon Treadway, Laura Wofford, Richard Keith Wofford Jr. and Matthew Wofford; and his grandchildren, Amelia Paxton and Gunnar Paxton.
