He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth D. Nealis, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Nealis (Elmore); his wife Teresa Timm; his sons, Blake, Kassidy Nealis and Bo (Shelby Nealis); his grandchildren, Paityn, Tucker, Talon, Rylynn, Karsyn and Rynlee; his siblings, Mary Stewart, Greg Cochran, Richard (Geny Nealis), Danny (Sarah Nealis), Randy Nealis and Donna Cue (Lance); his in-laws, Herschel and Karen Timm; and his brother-in-law Rodney (Deena Timm). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made in Kenny's name to Future Fisherman Foundation with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
