She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Olmsted and Ruby Olmsted; her son Terry Schlatter; and her husband Lorne Schlatter. She is survived by: her daughters, Roxy Schlatter, Rhonda Schlatter and Shari Murphree; her grandsons, Christian, Alex and Joshua Wellman; and her friends, Marie White and Mary Pollock.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Webb & Rodrick Chapel (306 W Main St, Independence, KS 67301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Independence Country Club (2824 Country Club Cir, Independence, KS 67301). A burial was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery.
