She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Handley and Frances Stalter Handley; her husband Dale Barnett; her son Fred Puryear; and her siblings, Patsy Handley, Peggy Krrugg and Jerry Handley.
She is survived by: her children, Sheri Gann (Marty) of Kansas, OK, Marvin Puryear of Neosho, MO and Leonard Puryear of North Carolina; her stepdaughters, Teresa Bennett (Jim) of Noel, MO and Sherrie Sims of Rogers, AR; and her brother Robert Handley of Redmond, Washington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Duffield Cemetery.
