He is survived by: his wife Alice Janete Simmons; his sons, Michael Simmons (Anna) of Guthrie, Matthew Simmons (Stephanie) of Guthrie, Marc Simmons (Katie) of Guthrie and Mitchell Simmons of Las Animas, Colorado; and his sisters, Bobbie Reding of Courtland and Brenda Piland of Decatur, Alabama.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
