We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2022, at the age of 77, Carole Marie Hider of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sterling Williams and Adel Williams; her siblings, Della Williams Morgan, Barbara Williams Grant, Ramona Williams Scott, Orland Williams and Charles Williams; and her son Marlowe Hider.

She is survived by : her son-in-law Larry; her daughter Karen Orton (Larry) of Edmond, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, DaMarlowe Hider and Yasmine Hider; and her sister Jackie Holman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“Ms. Hider was a wonderful person in my life. I am blessed I had the pleasure of crossing paths with her as my director at Ruth Dropkin’s Head Start for 9 years. I was sad when she retired because I was loosing a great leader I am thankful we stayed in touch over the years through phone conversation. Ms. Hider always pushed the importance of going to school. I thankful I was able to share that I finally earned my associates degree just a few week before I learned she passed. I will her dearly.”
