He was predeceased by : his parents, Charley Brooks and Augusta Brooks (Lietzke); his brother Donald Brooks; and his brother-in-law Ed Eckenstein. He is survived by : his wife Vesta McNulty; his siblings, Richard Brooks (Janice), Nina Shipley (Dennis) and Barbara Pearson (Darrell); and his siblings-in-law, Richard McNulty, Jimmy McNulty (Donna), Ramona Poupard (Gary), Ruth Eckenstein and Gwen McNulty.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
