As Doris departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Doris may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Doris leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Thomas and Helen Marie Somers (Kacsor); her sisters, Sharon Somers, Marie Arris and Patricia Smalley; and her son Brian Ray Pirochta.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Somers of Michigan and Debbie Somers of Tennessee; and her children, Mark Pirochta (Lori) of Guthrie and Kelly Pirochta of Guthrie. She is also survived by four granddaughters, nineteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 1725 Shady Creek Cir, Guthrie, OK 73044.
