It is with sadness that the passing of Erlis Arthur Green (Guthrie, Oklahoma) is shared. Erlis, born on May 17, 1935, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur H. Green and Mersa L. Husted; his siblings, WJ, Ramona and Jimmy; and his grandson James.
He is survived by: his former wives, Margene Cast and Discharge; his children, Melinda, Jerry, Sherryl and Julie; his wife Carolyn "Sue" McClure Tauer; and his children, Cathy, Ricky, Carla and Rodney. He is also survived by 8 children, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great- grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith-Gallo Funeral Home (220 N 1st St, Guthrie, OK 73044). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Smith Memorial Chapel (220 N 1st St, Guthrie, OK 73044).
