We announce the death of Jerry Wayne Jarnagin in Coyle, Oklahoma, born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 76. Jerry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jerry will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Jerry will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Jerry’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Quimby Jarnagin and Laveda Jarnagin (Brown); and his sister Sandra Cottrell. He is survived by: his children, Joni Noble (John) and Josh Jarnagin (Karissa); his brother Larry Jarnagin (Laura); and his grandchildren, Kyle Noble (Chris), Kori Davison (John), Madison Jarnagin, Milaina Jarnagin and Kaedynn Shields. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (117 E Noble Ave, Guthrie, OK 73044). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Summit View Cemetery (1808 N Pine St, Guthrie, OK 73044).
