She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Gaines and Anna Marie Gaines; her son Thomas Dwane; and her grandchildren, Vicky Sorrell, Rodney Sorrell and Paige Sorrell.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Sorrell; her daughter-in-law Connie Sorrell; and her children, Marie Benson (Earl), Martha Zacharias (Ron) and Dale Sorrell (Lisa). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (1624 N Pine St, Guthrie, OK 73044). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of God Chapel (304 W Lakeview Dr, Guthrie, OK 73044).
