He is survived by: his wife Mary E. McLaurin; his siblings, Al Curtis McLaurin of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Dolesther Harper of Phoenix, Arizona; and his children, Scottie McLaurin, Desmair R. Johnson, Sr. and Victoria McLaurin. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
