He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Sanders and Lula Sanders; and his siblings, Lilah Sanders, Imogene Cook, Ruth Sanders-Biggs, Leroy'Buck'Sanders and John Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sanders; his children, Rob Sanders and Serenity Sanders; and his sister Shirley Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (117 E Noble Ave, Guthrie, OK 73044). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Olivet Cemetery (15100 S Sangre Rd, Perkins, OK 74059).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Robert's memory by simply being kind to one another, just as he always was.
