Though Roy LaVerne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roy LaVerne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wilson and Agnes Wilson (Reding); and his wife Dora Belle Pearman. He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Wilson and Donna Wilson. He is also survived by one nephew and two nieces.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Belfast Cemetery (13951 Heron Dr, Neosho, MO 64850).
