It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Dear of Guthrie, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Samuel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Samuel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Dear and Francis Eagle Dear; and his sisters, Mary Marquardt and Martha Ann Dear. He is survived by: his children, Tammie Wamsley of Perkins Oklahoma, Tonya Glasby (Bryan Glasby) of Yale and Terry Dear (Kellie Dear) of Ponder, Texas; and his sister Leona Beeler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 24 great- grandchildren.
