Shirley Ann Davis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2025, at the age of 89, Shirley Ann Davis of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erhard Schnuelle and Leona Schnuelle (Wilson); her husband Ernest Davis; and her brother Gerald Schnuelle (Geraldine "Jerry" Schnuelle). She is survived by: her sons, Steve Davis (Gail), Rick Davis (Pam) and Kenny Davis (Gina); and her siblings, Voncilla Valdois (Jerry) and Ronald Schnuelle (Doris). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith-Gallo Funeral Home (220 N 1st St, Guthrie, OK 73044). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Southern Baptist Church (202 E Noble Ave, Guthrie, OK 73044).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to Harmony Community Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
