He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Mae Smith and Virgil Johnson; his daughter Iris Jewel Smith; and his son-in-law Mark Manderscheid. He is survived by: his wife Nancy G. Smith of Baytown, Texas.; his children, Lula Manderscheid, Adrienne Smith and Shawn Smith (Marlene Smith); his grandchildren, Zackery Brown (Vanessa Lopez), Corey Smith (Hannah Smith), Nikkolas Jones, Shane Smith and Shamara Smith; and his great grandchildren, Autumn Brown, June Brown, Elijah Smith, Ezra Smith, Gemma Brown, Gavin Norton, Zayvan Brown and Kayden Crabtree. He is also survived by his family, extended family, and friends.
