She was predeceased by : her parents, Lily Leo (Forguson) and Joe Wheeler Bridgman; her husband Richard Costner; her son Rickey Lee Costner; her grandmother Linda; and her brother Larry.

She is survived by : her children, James R. Costner (Jeanine) of Guymon, Melinda Davila (Gilbert) of Turpin and Brenda Costner of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Alex, Robert, Laura Jo, James, Justice, Travis, Morgan, Cody and Christine. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Barbara can be made to Kid's Inc. or to the American Cancer Society.
