Ernie Martinez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2023, at the age of 85, Ernie Martinez of Guymon, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Napoleon and Amelia Martinez (Tarufelli); his son Oranzo; his sister Alice Gross; and his brother-in-law Joe Gross.

He is survived by : his wife Mabel Mender; his brothers, Oronzo Martinez and Joe Fermin Martinez (Florence); his sister-in-law Becky Martinez (Bobby Martinez); his nephew Billy Lee Martinez; his niece El Freda Patton (Trujillo); his siblings-in-law, Alex and Demy Mender; his children, Jo Ann Mallard (Donnie Depuy), Jerry Martinez (Kim) of Las Vegas, Ronnie Martinez (Angel) of Fritch, Del Blackburn (Jill) of Avondale and Dennis (Michele Gonzales) of Clayton; his grandchildren, Grant Mallard, Jennie Larson, Travis Martinez, Cortney Martinez, Tayler DeMarsh, Rob DeMarsh, Garrett Martinez, Ryan Martinez, Autumn Trumbly, Tyler McLain, Michelle McLain, Kelsey Blomberg, Craig Blomberg, Sierra Blackburn, Shea Blackburn, Denise Gonzales, Anthony Gonzales, Brittany Gonzales and Nic Gonzales; his great grandchildren, Shayla Eastland, Zeke Bermea, Eric Mallard, Rhiannon Mallard, Kyle Larson, Ryann Larson, Bryce Larson, Isabella DeMarsh, Luke McLain, Tanner McLain, Kilee Mireles and Jaidyn Gonzales; his sisters, Julia Wiseley (Carl), Barbara Trujillo (Fred), Magdeline Garcia (Shorty), Tina Horman (Larry) and Anna Sherrod (Jack); and his sister-in-law Tina Martinez.
