He was predeceased by : his parents, Levi Gibson and Grace Gibson; his former life partner Roberta Lortz Gibson; and his son John Steven Gibson. He is survived by : his wife Lynda Tyler Stewart; and his children, Cynthia Hallford (David), Lynda Pettit (Jim), Robert Gibson (Deanna), Timothy Gibson (Julie) and Austin Stewart (Priscilla).
