He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram "Kirby" Pierce (A. K.) and Eliza "Elnora" Pierce (Ellison); his brothers, Joseph David Pierce, Sr., Abram Kirby "Abe" Pierce, Jr. and James Verlin Pierce; his nephew-in-law Alan Clemans; his niece Megan Rodgers; and his great-stepnephew David Douglas.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Clemans (Pierce) of Guymon, Joseph D. "Jody" Pierce, Jr. (Charla) of Guymon, James K. "Jim" Pierce (Karen) of Benton, AR, Jerald S. "Jerry" Pierce (Rita) of Edmond, OK and Jesse D. Pierce (Cindy) of Moorhead, MN.. He is also survived by his niece and nephews' twelve children and three step-children, twenty grandchildren and six step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Roberts Chapel (122 NE 7th St, Guymon, OK 73942).
