Joseph C. Esquibel Obituary
We announce the death of Joseph C. Esquibel of Guymon, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 69. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Filiberto Esquibel and Maria Anita "Annie" Esquibel (Archibeque); his wife Vicki Annette Isbell; and his brother David Paul Esquibel. He is survived by: his daughters, Daphane Esquibel of Tyrone and Julie Welch of Optima, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Alexis of Herrera, Thomas Welch, Darius Welch, Steven "Boo" Welch, Izabella Brickey and Checotah Welch; his son-in-law Joel Brickey; and his siblings, Jenni Tapia (Gene) of Albuquerque, NM, Roger Esquibel (Juanita) of Las Vegas, NM, Phyllis Trujillo of Las Vegas, NM, Phil Esquibel (Nancy) of Las Vegas, NM and Ralph Esquibel of Las Vegas, NM. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Roberts Chapel (122 NE 7th St, Guymon, OK 73942).
