He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Glenn and Vera Bertha (Oxley) Grounds; wife: Thyra Grounds; sons: David (Angela White) and Joshua Grounds; grandchildren: Rachel, Brianna, and Haley White, Dawson Tivis, and Avery Clayton; great granddaughter: Persephone Joloy; sisters: Rhonda Critcher and Carolyn Warren; niece: Jennifer Wesley; nephews: Eric (Wendy Keith) and Ryan Critcher; great niece: Jessie Keith; mother-in-law: Ida Wester; brothers and sisters-in-law: Leon Wester, Sherri (Danny Brown), and Jerry (April Wester); other: Pastor David Moore.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Lane Baptist Church (1515 N Sunset Ln, Guymon, OK 73942). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in memory of Larry can be made to the American Legion or Priesthood Motorcycle Club.
