He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Wesley and Lois Augusta Marr (Blenis); his stepdaughter Julie Prusia; his children, Lois Jean Cannon of Yukon, OK, Robert Wesley Marr Jr. of Enid, OK, Maxynne Marr of Guymon and Gus Kruse; his stepchildren, Richard Marr of Roswell, Keith Marr (Sandy) of Ferndale, Kim Heye of Texas and Cindy Crouse of Omaha, Nebraska.; his sister Gladys Wickham of New York; his grandchildren, Scott Burdge, Alan Burdge, Brandon Burdge, Geoff Cannon of Geonn Cannon, R. T, Rebecca Marr and Robyn Marr; and his great grandchildren, Elisha Burdge, Thomas Burdge, Samuel Burdge, Maverick Burdge and Winston Burdge.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to the American Legion or the NRA.
