He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Ward and Junia Marie Butler (Currier); his wife Rita; and his sister Colleen Mowry. He is survived by: his children, LaDonna Thompson of Norman, Brian Butler of Liberal, Clint Butler of Amarillo and Chris Butler of Yukon, Oklahoma; and his sister Peggy Patzkowsky of Rush, Colorado.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
