It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Barbaree of Guymon, Oklahoma, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Phillip Barbaree; his daughter Ashley Layton; his sister Tracie Mansfield; and his uncles, Lyndon Hicks and Dennis Hicks.
He is survived by : his mother Gwendolyn Barbaree; his wife Connie; his grandchild Chancelor; his children, Bethany Barbaree (Dusty Wells) and Chancelor Barbaree; his grandchildren, Gracie, Gabriel, Reece, Bentley, Asher and Sebastian; his aunt Pam Hicks; and his cousins, Tim and Chad Hicks. He is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.
