He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Carl Franklin West and Elizabeth Rose Byrd; and his brother Chester West. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Bill Allen West of California, Eddington Earl West of Wichita, Diana Lynn Walston of Brownwood, Travis Carl West of Wichita and William Cleet Blasingame of Hardesty, Oklahoma; and his daughter-in-law Shirlee Blasingame of Guymon. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Elmhurst Cemetery.
