He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Vernon and Katherine Vernon; and his wife Gloria Smalley. He is survived by : his daughters, Kris Dixon of Ulysses, Karri McDaniel of Texhoma and Mandy Vernon of Texhoma; his grandchildren, Karisa Ramos (Andrew) of Garden City, Ciara Waugh (Dayelle) of Manhattan and Brianna Vavra of Cedar Rapids; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Vela, Ella Ramos, Rowan Ramos and Maverick Ramos. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
