He was predeceased by : his wife June; his daughter Brenda; his parents, E. J. and Rebecca; and his sister Geradine.

He is survived by : his daughter Pam Eslinger (Willie) of Hammon, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Jim Johnson (Jennifer) of Merritt, Jay Johnson of Hammon, Jan Williams (CR) of Guthrie, Brian Eslinger (Shannon) of Elk City and Lorie Lee of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and his nephews, Jerry Dean (Debbie) of Hammon and Gary Dean (Sandy) of Hammon. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren.
