She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter James Cothern and Alta Mae Cothern (Potter); her former husband James Beagles; her husband R. H. Johnston; her daughter Diane Ferrell; her great great grandchild Cayden Moore; her siblings, Hub, Cliff, Joe, Bud Cothern and Wanda Lunceford; and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Cothern, Harvey Lunceford, Donald Beagles, Leo Beagles, Bill Beagles, Keith Beagles, Arthur Johnston and John Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Miller, Ron Beagles and Randy Beagles; her stepchildren, Roger, Cindy Johnston, Carla, David Howell, Keith and Kim Johnston; her brothers, Jim Cothern (Teresa), Clyde Cothern (Candy), Bill Cothern and Ernie Cothern (Diane); and her son-in-law Tim Ferrell. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brumley-Mills Funeral Home - Hartshorne (103 N 10th St, Hartshorne, OK 74547). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery Pavilion (1307 9th St, Hartshorne, OK 74547).
