He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert and Thelma Wilson (Boling); his siblings, Hazel, Juanita, JC, Tommy and Carl; his son Danny Wilson; and his granddaughter Dena Pritchett.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Lucille Johnson; his children, Donna Posey (Bruce) of Muskogee, Diana Mullins (Mike) of Muskogee, Patty Williams (Lonnie) of Haskell and Billy Wayne Wilson of Muskogee; his daughter-in-law Tanya Wilson; his sister Carolyn Herrman of Claremore; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah Wilson, Minta Jones, Keri Doughty, Roy Bunch, Kyle Cossey, Audrey Pendley, Michelle Mayfield, Alysha Peetree, Taylor Mustin, Jesse Wilson and Bryce Wilson. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and many lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home & Crematory (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1401 N Haskell Blvd, Haskell, OK 74436).
