He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Dendy, Sr. and Eula Mae Dendy (McAdams); and his brother Bufford "Bill" Dendy. He is survived by: his children, Vannita Deborah "Debbie" Dendy of Haskell, Elisa June Pannell (Dendy) of Coweta, Oklahoma and Race Allen Dendy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and his brother Jimmie Sarge Dendy of Hernando Beach, Florida. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
