He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Herbert and Rosa Lorene Gilbert (Ketchum); and his son Grason Grant Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Gilbert; his children, Vickie Davidson (Mark) of Coweta, OK, Regina Gilbert of Haskell, OK and Keith Gilbert of Broken Arrow, OK; his grandchildren, Mildred Ruiz (Pedro), Dee Moses (Jarrod), Jennifer Capps (Michael), Randi Joice, Gabe Gilbert, Talvi Tolkiien-Gilbert, Wyatt Gilbert, Gunner Gilbert and Tate Gilbert; his great grandchildren, Annaliese Ruiz, Isaiah Ruiz, Rodney Moses, Madison Moses, Dakota Chaney, Lucchese Chaney, Serenity Callison, Zoe Callison and RJ Joice; and his sister Marion Mashburn of Coweta, OK. He is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (210 S Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy (123 W Sycamore St, Coweta, OK 74429). A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the Vernon Cemetery.
