He is survived by: his daughter Emilie Mertin of Rogers, Arkansas; his sister Shelly Forson of Ardmore; his grandchildren, Easton and Ava Mertin of Rogers, Arkansas; his niece Chelsey Howard of Healdton; and his close friends, Wes Christopher of Healdton and Brian West of Healdton.
