He was predeceased by: his parents, Olan Mitchell and Ione Mitchell (Tommy); his siblings, Bill Mitchell, Etta Jo Mitchell and Caroly Mitchell Cox; his siblings' children, James Olan Thorne and Michelle Isbell; and his great-nephew Matthew Alexander.
He is survived by: his sister Olene Mitchell Thorne; his sibling's children, Cathy Cox Alexander, Cindy Cox Brannan and Andy Thorne; and his sister-in-law Carol Mitchell.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel (1302 7th St, Wilson, OK 73463).
