She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vernon Powell and Ruth Manona Powell (Priest); and her siblings, Lavern Vansill and Johnny Powell. She is survived by: her husband Steve; her children, James Schoonover (Christie) of Ardmore, Cheryl Gee (Audie) of Lone Grove and Paul "Dinger" Schoonover of Oil City; her grandchildren, Clinton Westenhofer, Ariel Eades, Jeremiah Schoonover, Jessica Chatham, Jessie Gee, Logan Schoonover and Adelyn Schoonover; and her great grandchildren, Carlie Mayo, Lydia Marris, Berkley Marris, Wylder Marris, EmmahRae Westenhofer, Graelee Westenhofer, Maxstan Eades, Asher Eades, Nova Rose Schoonover and Amyra Schoonover. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson (1302 7th St, Wilson, OK 73463). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel (1302 7th St, Wilson, OK 73463).
