He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Rockwell "Swede" Sturgeon; his wife Lynn Sturgeon; his mother Elaine Sturgeon; and his grandparents, Herbert, Almira Lamle, Olin and Goldia Sturgeon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mike Sturgeon of St. Petersburg, Mack Sturgeon of Eucha and Mistie Sturgeon Kline of Alva; his daughters, Cristalle (Jesse Pelfrey) and Lauren (Kevin Bailey); his grandchildren, Kenneddie, Jackson Pelfrey of Edmond and Guenndolynn Bailey of Washington, DC; his siblings' children, Tanner Sturgeon of Tulsa, Carrington and Taylor Kline of Alva; his close friends, Stetson, Pat and Mary Nell Brueggen; and his friends, Delbert Hill and Mark Calhoun.
