He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Gertie Johnson (Sanders); his sons, Lee Johnson and David Johnson; and his siblings, Wanda Jean Johnson, Shirley Henley, Paul Johnson, Frankie Johnson and Bobby Johnson of William Johnson, JR.
He is survived by: his children, Howard Johnson (Sandy) of Oklahoma City, Phillip Johnson (Deana) of Oklahoma City and Rhonda Swann of Oklahoma City; his stepson Alex Brassfield (Kelli) of Hennepin; and his brothers, Jimmy Johnson (Wilma) and Freddy Johnson (Anna). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar Hale's Funeral Home (202 S 4th St, Davis, OK 73030). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Hennepin Cemetery.
